Affiliate links

FamilyPlans does not currently carry affiliate links. When affiliate revenue becomes part of the site, every page containing affiliate links will carry a visible disclosure and the relevant programmes will appear here.

Editorial integrity rule

If a comparison page concludes that the cheapest non-affiliate option is best, the page states this even where affiliate revenue is on a different option. Editorial integrity is a rule of the build, not a marketing slogan.

Sponsorships

FamilyPlans does not currently carry sponsored content. Any future sponsored placement will be visibly labelled Sponsored and will not affect editorial conclusions on non-sponsored pages.

B2B contracts

Some councils may, in the future, subscribe to FamilyPlans's benchmarking data products. Council subscribers will appear publicly here and on /methodology/sources; subscriptions do not affect how FamilyPlans publishes data about those councils.

Takedown policy

Our public takedown policy sets out the process for providers, councils, and others who wish to dispute or remove service pages.

Corrections

Anyone can challenge any fact via /report-error. We aim to acknowledge within 2 business days. All factual corrections appear at /research/corrections.
