1. Site use

FamilyPlans publishes data about UK family services for personal, educational, and editorial use. You may browse the site, share links to pages, and cite data with attribution.

2. Accuracy

We work to keep the site accurate and to publish only what we can attribute to a source, but we do not guarantee accuracy. Always verify important details (prices, schedules, opening hours) directly with the provider before relying on them.

3. Public datasets

Released dataset downloads documented at /datasets are licensed under CC BY 4.0. You may share and adapt the data with attribution to FamilyPlans and to the original source where applicable.

4. Public fact API

Our public fact API uses the pattern /api/facts/{entity}/{id}. Fair-use limits apply and may be enforced. Reasonable use is welcome; abusive use may be blocked without notice. Current public entities are council, venue, family_hub, and sure_start_centre.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the site or API to send spam.
• Reverse-engineer rate limits or other security controls.
• Republish substantial portions of the site as your own work.
• Use the site or data in any way that violates UK law.

6. No advice

Nothing on FamilyPlans constitutes legal, medical, safeguarding, or financial advice. Where relevant, we signpost to official sources, but we do not give advice ourselves.

7. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on the site. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
