Salford

Salford City Council runs Salford Family Hubs as local community places for families, with support running from pregnancy through to the early years and beyond. The offer is aimed at families with children aged 0 to 19, or up to 25 for children and young people with SEND.

The network has four hubs across the city and also uses satellite buildings and community venues. Parents can use the relationships offer, including courses and sessions for new parents or parents to be, while school-readiness guidance is available for families getting ready for September starts.

When choosing the next step, it helps to start with the nearest hub and the kind of support needed, whether that is parenting, child health, sleep, feeding or general early help. The current activity mix also covers baby, toddler, library and postnatal sessions, which gives parents a simple way to compare age band and local venue.
