South Gloucestershire Libraries

South Gloucestershire Libraries runs activities and resources for babies and toddlers for babies and young children, with Bookstart, Rhymetime and Mini Builders among the main routes into the programme.

Bookstart Baby Packs are free for every child aged 0 to 12 months, and the pack includes a book, a finger puppet and a booklet of ideas. If a pack has not already been handed out by a health visitor or other health professional, families can pick one up from their local library.

Mini Builders is a free drop-in for pre-school children, with a story and mini blocks, and children need to come with an adult. South Gloucestershire also offers support packs for deaf children, blind or partially sighted children and children with fine motor skill conditions, plus dual-language books in some cases.
