Baby Sensory

Every Friday at St John's Community Centre, Hannah and Jamaine bring a full Baby Sensory session to Hitchin — covering babies from birth right through to 13 months. The North Herts franchise also runs Hello Baby for the 0–3 month stage, which is built around reading a newborn's cues and helping parents and babies communicate from the start.

Each session follows a detailed lesson plan built around what your baby touches, sees, hears, smells and feels. Expect creative play, tummy time, movement, textured objects and scent exploration alongside original songs, traditional rhymes and sensory signing — all designed to support early speech and language. The session opens with a signature song and closes by mimicking the sounds of the womb to settle babies gently at the end. Everything the session introduces — signs, songs, massage strokes — is kept practical enough to repeat at home between Fridays, so the learning doesn't stay in the room.

Classes run in six-week blocks at £54 per term, which works out at £9 a session. If twins or multiples are attending with one adult, you only pay for the first baby.
