Baby Sensory

Classes at Waltham-on-the-Wolds Village Hall are open to babies from birth up to 13 months. If your baby is very young (birth to 3 months), the Hello Baby programme — which covers reading your baby's cues, understanding different cries, and gentle massage — may also be worth asking the team about.

Classes at this venue run on Mondays. The most recent published term ran for six weeks (13 April to 22 May), with themed sessions including Spring Showers, Creative Play, Sparkles and Hola Barcelona. For current term dates and available Monday slots, contact the team directly.

Each session follows a structured lesson plan covering sensory play with textures and scents, tummy time, movement, creative activities, massage, and a mix of songs and rhymes to support early speech and language. Sensory signing runs through the session — simple signs that give you and your baby a shared language from the very start. A signature song opens every class, and the session closes with womb sounds to soothe babies before you leave. You are welcome to feed or cuddle your baby at any point.

The franchise does not publish a kit list for these sessions. Bring whatever you would normally carry for a morning out — nappy bag, a change of clothes, anything your baby finds comforting.
