Baby Sensory Walsall & Cannock - Morning Session

Cannock Chase Family Hub is one of three venues where Hannah Holland runs her Baby Sensory Walsall & Cannock franchise — eight classes a week in all, Monday to Wednesday across the area. Hannah has been running the franchise for nearly six years, and her mother assists too (the babies know her as Nanny Sensory).

The Summer Term is themed around world cultures, giving the six weeks a shared thread. Each session follows a detailed lesson plan covering everything your baby touches, sees, hears, smells, and feels. Activities span creative play, tummy time, movement, textures, scents, and music. Original and traditional songs and rhymes run through every session to support early speech and language, alongside sensory signing so you and your baby can start communicating from birth. The sensory layout is deliberately calibrated — the room is arranged to match the distance at which a young baby actually sees clearly, and instruments are kept at a measured decibel level. Every session closes by mimicking the sounds of the womb.

The programme was designed as much for parents as for babies. You are actively encouraged to feed or cuddle your baby whenever they need it, and the practical ideas from each session — massage, visual development activities, tummy time variations — are straightforward enough to repeat at home through the week. Hello Baby, the separate workshop strand for babies from birth to three months, is also offered through this franchise and draws on techniques including baby massage, reflexology, yoga, sensory integration, and containment. Twin and sibling discounts are available, and classes are £7 per session, paid in term blocks.
