Baby Sensory at Hayes Green takes babies from birth to 13 months. Those aged 0 to 3 months can join the Hello Baby programme, which focuses specifically on the earliest weeks — reading your baby's cues, understanding the five main baby cries, and building gentle touch techniques including massage and reflexology. The main Baby Sensory sessions cover the full 0 to 13 months range, so babies can continue as they grow.

Every session opens with a signature song, then moves through sensory activities — lights, textures, scents, music, tummy time, massage, and movement. Sensory signing is woven in throughout, giving babies and parents simple shared gestures from very early on. Sessions close with womb sounds to help babies settle. Each activity follows a detailed lesson plan, and most ideas are designed to be repeated at home.

There is no specific kit list. Feeding or cuddling your baby during the session is actively welcomed — you do not need to step out. Toys and props from Baby Sensory classes, including the 'Say Hello' range designed by programme founder Dr Lin Day, can be purchased from the Baby Sensory shop.
