Perform Drama, Dance & Singing Classes

Yes. Every child is entitled to a trial session. You can book through the Perform website — the Walton-on-Thames venue is listed there — or contact the team by phone.

Perform runs two programmes: 4–7s and 7–12s. Within the 4–7s class, the mixed age range is intentional — younger children are stretched by the group while older children develop early leadership skills. For the 7–12s programme, character and social readiness matter more than the exact birth date, so children on the boundary needn't feel they must fit a strict number.

Classes are sold in blocks of ten consecutive sessions, with options to book 20 at once, renew to the end of term, or pay monthly by Direct Debit. Missed sessions cannot be added to the end of a block, but a make-up system lets children attend another Perform venue subject to availability. Cancellations made with three days' notice convert to account credit redeemable against future products; no cash refunds are offered.

Comfortable clothes that allow free movement are ideal. Sessions include active dance and drama games, so anything restrictive will get in the way. No specialist kit is needed.

Three times a year, family and friends are invited to half-termly Open Workshops and end-of-term Presentations where children perform what they have been working on. Holiday courses also include mini-performances. This summer, Perform is staging a West End show — Mermaids & Pirates — for which tickets are available separately.
